For Ethics and Compliance Initiative’s 2022 Impact Conference, the Center for Audit Quality hosted the panel, The Future of ESG Reporting and Assurance. ESG-related matters are gaining significant attention from investors, regulators, and other stakeholders. There has been significant change in the ESG reporting space this year. On March 21, 2022, the SEC proposed rules to and the SEC is considering rules requiring enhanced disclosure of climate-related risks, and the SEC is also considering rules to enhance disclosure of human capital management, and board diversity.
