Brian Becker is managing partner & CEO for RSM US LLP. He oversees the firm’s strategy and operations across four countries—the United States, Canada, El Salvador and India. An expert in digital transformation, Brian is driving RSM to become a digital firm while maintaining its leadership in the middle market and its compelling value proposition for clients and people. He is committed to advancing diversity and inclusion at RSM, as well as to continuing the firm’s longstanding history of stewardship to its communities.
As a member of the firm’s leadership team since 2017, Brian had an important role in crafting RSM’s Vision 100…Powered by our culture strategy, and is focused on executing it in a way that provides compelling experiences for clients and people while evolving the firm to meet a future that is digital and global.
Brian previously served as RSM’s consulting leader, where he tripled the size of the practice in five years by harnessing the full power RSM’s technical and industry expertise. He has also held numerous other national and regional leadership roles at RSM, and he served as a member of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors from 2011 to 2015. Among the many accolades Brian has received is inclusion in Consulting Magazine as one of the top 25 consultants for excellence in technology. He also earned RSM’s highest honor—Partner of the Year—in recognition of his efforts to build the firm’s consulting practice.
Brian is a certified public accountant with a specialty in technology and expertise. He helps clients integrate human insights and digital solutions by aligning strategy, people, processes and technology. With an industry specialty in financial institutions, he has deep experience advising banks and other financial institutions on using technology to automate and transform their business. He has led more than 500 engagements for the firm around technology and strategic digital transformation.
Brian appreciates the opportunity RSM provides to make a difference for clients, colleagues and communities. Outside of RSM, he and his wife are developing a nonprofit foundation to support chronically ill young people as they transition from pediatric care to the adult system of medical care—a journey he has traveled with his daughter.
When he’s not leading RSM, Brian can be found wake surfing or golfing.
