Research Advisory Board Funding Grants

The CAQ and the public company auditing profession are dedicated to supporting valuable independent academic research that can have important, real-world impact on audit quality and the future of auditing.

The CAQ, through its Research Advisory Board (RAB), annually awards grants to fund auditing-related scholarly research. Since 2009, the RAB, comprised of representatives from academia and the profession, has awarded 30 grants for independent academic research projects.

The 2017 request for proposals is now available. Interested researchers must submit their proposal using the online submission process by March 17, 2017. There is no fee for proposal submissions, and awards announced by June 1, 2017.
