Research Advisory Board Funding Grants

The CAQ and the public company auditing profession are dedicated to supporting valuable independent academic research that can have important, real-world impact on audit quality and the future of auditing.

The CAQ, through its Research Advisory Board (RAB), annually awards grants to fund auditing-related scholarly research. Since 2009, the RAB, comprised of representatives from academia and the profession, has awarded 35 grants for independent academic research projects.

The 2018 request for proposals will be released by mid-November. Interested researchers must submit their proposal using the online submission process starting in November. There is no fee for proposal submissions, and awards announced by the end of June.
